GEORGETOWN, KY (WAVE) – A shooting at the Georgetown Toyota plant is now considered self-inflicted.
Originally reported as an employee being shot in the parking lot, police now say the man involved shot himself. He initially told police someone shot him during a scuffle on Toyota's property. The victim said he fired back at the shooter.
The victim was taken to UK Hospital and suffered a non-life threatening injury to his left torso.
Police have not said if the shooting was an accident or planned.
