Oldham County man sentenced for 2011 murders

LA GRANGE, KY (WAVE) - A Westport, Kentucky man has learned his punishment for killing a pregnant Oldham County woman and her sister.
Judge Karen A. Conrad sentenced Ronnie Evridge, 59, to seven months of home incarceration and five years probation.

On December 18, 2011, Evridge shot Heather Fulkerson, 21, and her sister Sandy Allen, 24, at his house in the 5400 block of 18 Mile Creek Road. Evridge claimed self defense. In May 2014, he pleaded guilty to two counts reckless homicide and one count wanton endangerment.
Evridge also agreed to pay $10,000 toward the victims' three surviving children.
The other sister of Fulkerson and Allen said Evridge has no remorse for taking the lives of her sisters.
