LARUE COUNTY, KY (WAVE) – The LaRue County 911 system is still down after an electrical surge knocked out the service Saturday night.
911 calls from landlines are being received, but calls from cell phones are still not working. A dispatcher says it may take until Wednesday to fix the problem.
A lightning strike caused the power surge and damaged the phone lines late Saturday night.
