TEMUCO, CHILE (WAVE) - A recent Georgetown College graduate has been found dead of an apparent homicide inside an apartment in Chile, according to her family.
WLEX-TV in Lexington reported that 22-year-old Erica Hagen had been teaching English in Temuco, Chile and was scheduled to return home in December.
A prosecutor in Chile told the family Hagen suffered head injuries. Her death has been ruled a homicide.
Hagen was a 2014 Georgetown graduate. School officials told WLEX that a memorial service will be held on campus once arrangements are made with Hagan's family.
