Carrollton police officer found dead at home; no foul play suspected

CARROLLTON, KY (WAVE) - An off-duty Carrollton police officer died at home Saturday.
Kentucky State Police detectives were sent to the home of Sgt. Richard Jackson around 4:30 p.m. According to Trooper Bradley Arterburn, a spokesman for the state police, Jackson was pronounced dead by the Carroll County Coroner. No foul play is suspected.
An autopsy has been performed, but an investigation is ongoing.
Jackson was 60 years old.
