Fire kills horses, damages barn in Pewee Valley

PEWEE VALLEY, KY (WAVE) - A barn in Pewee Valley has extensive damage after an early morning fire.
According to Oldham County dispatch, the fire was in the 2600 block of Ash Avenue. That is near the Correctional Institute for Women.
Pewee Valley Fire Department confirms horses did die in the fire, but do not know how many at this time.
The fire is under investigation.
