LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – Hundreds of volunteers helped clean up a Louisville neighborhood Friday.
Volunteers from GE, YouthBuild and other businesses spent the day sprucing up the Preston Street Corridor between East Broadway and Breckinridge Street in the Smoketown neighborhood.
They added a new pocket park, bike racks, neighborhood signs, trees, benches and trash cans for the community.
The project has been in the works since fall of 2013.
