Hardin Co. trucker injured in log truck crash in Greensburg

GREENSBURG, KY (WAVE) - A Hardin County truck driver is recovering from injuries he suffered when the log truck he was driving in Greensburg, Kentucky was involved in a serious crash.

According to Kentucky State Police, Don Wilcox of Rineyville lost control of the log truck while trying to make a right hand turn just after 10 a.m. on Oct. 20 while traveling south on KY 88. The vehicle left the roadway, overturned, spilled a load of logs onto the roadway and then struck a home.

Wilcox was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. A passenger, Danny Yoder, was treated at the scene.

Police said the accident shut down the roadway for approximately five hours.

The crash is under investigation by KSP Post 15 in Columbia.
