1-day 'Lion King' ticket sale benefits Kosair Children's Hospital

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - On Tuesday, Nov. 18 only, $10 from every ticket to Disney's The Lion King that is sold will be donated to Kosair Children's Hospital.

Disney's The Lion King will play in Louisville at The Kentucky Center on March 3 to 29, 2015 as part of the PNC Broadway in Louisville series. Tickets start at $33 and can be purchased in person at The Kentucky Center box office from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., by calling 502-584-7777 or online anytime at KentuckyCenter.org.

Disney's The Lion King features an unforgettable score by Sir Elton John and Tim Rice and the breathtaking spectacle of animals brought to life by award-winning diretor Julie Taymor.
