LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - The fourth day of the Dejaun Hammond murder trial saw a blow dealt to the prosecution.
Hammond is charged with orchestrating the murder of Troya Sheckles. Sheckles was shot to death as she sat in Shelby Park on March 23, 2009.
During cross examination, Princess Bolin, Hammond's girlfriend at the time, said the former prosecutor and lead detective threatened her with 18 years in prison and losing her kids if she didn't implicate Hammond in the murder.
Also on the stand was Prince Bolin, Princess's brother, and another witness, Ike Kinnison who said several times he could not recall prior testimony he gave police.
The trial will take a break for the Thanksgiving holiday. Testimony resumes Monday, Dec. 1.
