INDIANAPOLIS, IN (WAVE) - The State of Indiana set aside $200 million for interstate expansion, including southern Indiana.

The governor's office says the expansion projects are planned for sections of Interstate 65 in Clark County as well as a stretch just south of Indianapolis between Greenwood and Franklin.

The other project involves I-69 north of Indianapolis.

The $200 million is included in the current state budget and Governor Mike Pence will ask the State Budget Committee to back the spending of that money.
