LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Numerous firearms were confiscated from a convicted felon's home near the Jefferson - Bullitt County line.

On January 13, detectives with the Bullitt County Sheriff's Drug Task Force and Louisville Metro Police Department Narcotics Unit found 24 stolen firearms while serving a search warrant at 321 North Lakeview Drive.

Among the 24 weapons were 18 AR15's or AK47's. The rest were shotguns and handguns. They had all been stolen earlier in the day from the Louisville Metro area, according to police. Drug paraphernalia was also found.

Four additional weapons were recovered by officers who stopped a car that had just left the house.

Victor Kustes, 53, was arrested in the home. He has a case pending in Bullitt County Circuit Court for drug charges from December 2014.

He is now being held at the Bullitt County Detention Center on a $100,000 cash bond.

His next court appearance is scheduled for February 3 at 10 a.m. in Bullitt County District Court for new charges stemming from the alleged stolen weapons. Those charges are receiving stolen property, convicted felon in possession of a firearm and possession of a controlled substance, second offense or greater.
