LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A meeting was held Tuesday to discuss the latest phase of the Louisville Loop.

Metro Parks Officials held a public meeting at Locust Grove to hear opinions concerning the final phase of the project.

They say the most challenging part about completing the 100 mile loop around the city is how to connect Prospect, near the East End Bridge, to downtown, near the Big Four Bridge, providing bicyclists and pedestrians a course in both areas.

Louisville Metro Parks will host more public meetings to give residents an opportunity to provide input on the plan. For more information, click here.
