Man sentenced to probation on sex charge

JEFFERSONVILLE, IN (WAVE) - A southern Indiana man convicted after a 2013 sexual encounter with a Jeffersonville High School student has been sentenced.
The original sexual misconduct charge against William Mackle, 23, was dropped to a lower felony in a plea agreement.

Mackle was 21 at the time and a volunteer instructor with the Jeff High band; the victim was 14.
