Man shot, killed in Portland neighborhood identified

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – The name of a man who died after he was shot in the Portland neighborhood has been released.

According to the Jefferson County Deputy Coroner, Keiandre Grinstead, 23, was shot multiple times near North 28th and Bank Streets at 4:50 p.m. Thursday.

Louisville Metro Police Department Lt. Todd Kessinger said following the shooting a woman drove the victim to 16th Street and Broadway where he was picked up by EMS and taken to University of Louisville Hospital.

No suspect information has been released. The LMPD Homicide Unit is investigating the case.
