Homicide Unit investigating shooting in Russell neighborhood

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – Louisville Metro Police Department Homicide Unit is investigating a shooting in the Russell neighborhood.
MetroSafe said the shooting was reported in the 600 block of Eastlawn Avenue around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday.
When officers arrived, they found a man dead inside the home.
The victim is believed to be in his 40s or 50s. Police are not sure the man lived at the home where he was found dead.
