Men found shot to death in car identified

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - The names of the two men shot and killed inside a car in the Shawnee neighborhood have been released.

According to the Jefferson County Coroner's Office, Rodney Lee Frye, 27, of Lexington, Kentucky, and Rodney Dinwiddie, 32, of Gary, Indiana, both died from multiple gunshot wounds.

Frye and Dinwiddie were found inside a Dodge Charger parked at 39th Street and Garfield Avenue around 9:45 p.m. Feb. 24. Police said the car was a rental.
