LIBA to celebrate 10 years of keeping Louisville weird
LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - The Louisville Independent Business Alliance (LIBA) will celebrate a decade of keeping Louisville weird with a Birthday Bash Friday.
John Timmons, the founder of LIBA, said the party will include live music by Tony and the Tan Lines along with a cash bar, party games and plenty of birthday cake.
Timmons offered a sneak peek of the party this week on The Setlist with Kyle Meredith.
The bash will be Friday, September 27 from 7 to 11 p.m. at Headliners Music Hall on Lexington Road.
Tickets are available in advance for $10 at Better Days Records, the Headliners box office or online at keeplouisvilleweird.com. At the door, tickets will be $12.
LIBA hosts several annual events such as the Buy Local Fair, Louisville Brewfest, and the Shift Your Shopping holiday contest. Louisvillians can pick up their Buy Local Guides across town in the spring and the fall to get the latest on independent businesses.
For those wanting to keep up with LIBA all year, follow them on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram and download their app.
