Man arrested in connection to deadly February shooting
LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Police have arrested a man on a murder charge in connection to a shooting in the Portland neighborhood in February.
I'an Da'Shaun Edward Ellery Neal, 21, was arrested by the homicide unit of LMPD in connection to the shooting death of Keiandre Grinstead, 23.
Grinstead was shot several times near 28th Street and Bank Street on the afternoon of Feb. 19. Police say Neal fled the area.
A woman drove Grinstead away from the scene, and paramedics picked him up at 16th Street and Broadway.
He was taken to University of Louisville Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
Neal was arrested on suspicion of murder and tampering with physical evidence. He is scheduled to be arraigned on Monday. His bond is currently set at $100,000, according to online jail records.
