Coroner identifies man found shot to death in car

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Police are investigating a homicide after a man was found shot to death in a car.
The Jefferson County Coroner's Office said Alphonse Mesinor, 51, was found dead in his car parked near his South 12th Street home. He was shot multiple times.
The shooting was reported to dispatchers around 1 a.m. Saturday morning, according to Louisville police spokeswoman Alicia Smiley. Mesinor was pronounced dead at 6:22 a.m.
Funeral arrangements for Mesinor are still pending.
