Man accused of stealing $2.9K in jewelry from Peddlers Mall

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – Louisville Metro police are asking for the community's help to identify a man who stole thousands of dollars worth of jewelry from a Peddlers Mall.

On Wednesday, detectives in LMPD's 6th Division released a surveillance photo of the suspect who allegedly forced entry into a jewelry case and removed $2,900 worth of items from the Peddlers Mall located at 5252 Bardstown Road.

The suspect is described as being in his mid 60s to early 70s and was wearing a veteran's hat at the time of the theft.
