Explosives stolen from construction site, ATF offering reward

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – Explosives were stolen from a construction site in Louisville and a reward is being offered to help investigators find the person responsible.
The dynamite was taken from an explosives magazine near the intersection of Chamberlain Lane and Brownsboro Road/Highway 1694, close to Norton Commons, according to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

ATF officials said the dynamite is packaged in cylinder wrappers that look like wax paper or plastic.
Investigators believe the theft happened between Friday, April 10 and Monday, April 13.
ATF is offering up to a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrests and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the theft.
