KSP charges Louisville man in child pornography case
LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A person who was arrested for possession and distribution of child pornography is also facing drug charges after police marijuana in his home.
Gemini Jay Wink, 41, of Louisville, was arrested by Kentucky State Police at his home on April 29.
According to KSP, an undercover investigation by the Electronic Crimes Branch linked Wink to an internet account from which files containing sexual exploitation of children were being shared. When a search warrant was executed, troopers found multiple files containing child pornography.
While troopers were serving the search warrant they found Wink in the driveway with several electronic cigarettes and said he was vaping marijuana oil. A large amount of ground marijuana and drug paraphernalia was also found inside his home.
Wink has been booked into Louisville Metro Corrections on three charges related to child pornography along with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Bond for Wink has been set at $10,000 cash. He will be back in court on May 11.
