Officials asking for help to identify man found dead in Shively

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Officials are asking for help to identify a man who was found dead in Shively on Friday.

The body of a white man, approximately 6 feet tall with a mustache and a shaved head was found in the rear of the 1700 block of Herbert Avenue near Mill Creek Stream. The body was found around 2 p.m. May 8. He may have been living at nearby homeless camp, officials said.

No cause of death has been determined, and a death investigation is underway.
