Autopsy scheduled to determine cause of death for missing toddler

. - LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - The autopsy of a 2-year-old girl believed to be Laynee Wallace is scheduled to be performed today in Louisville.

The medical examiner will look to positively identify the body is that of Wallace, and to find out how the girl died.

Kentucky State Police officials said her body was found at 2:15 p.m. Monday near the area in Monroe County where she was originally reported missing last week. Her mother's boyfriend -- Anthony Barbour -- was arrested earlier Monday after police had searched for the two for several days.

An alert from Kentucky State Police said Barbour was arrested at the Temple Hill Volunteer Fire Department near Glasgow during a traffic stop at 1:16 p.m. central time Monday. 

On May 19, state police were notified that the girl had not been seen since May 17. Detectives began searching for both the girl and Barbour, describing him as armed and dangerous.
