LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A Louisville woman was arrested on Tuesday after she and two other people allegedly robbed a woman at gunpoint.
According to a police report, Markita Ford and two unnamed suspects entered the victim's home "by force at gunpoint" and stole over $500 worth of property.
According to the report, Ford identified herself as "Yellow" during the robbery and indicated she knew the victim's roommate. After the intruders left, the victim contacted Louisville Metro police.
The victim was struck in the back in the head by one of the three suspects. She was taken to University of Louisville Hospital for treatment.
Ford is charged with one count each of robbery and burglary. She is scheduled to appear in court on June 22.
It was not immediately known whether the other suspects have been taken into custody.
