LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – An armed man suspected of robbing six convenience stores in less than one week is at large and Louisville Metro police are asking for the community's help to find him.

Investigators with the LMPD Robbery Unit said on June 16 the Circle K, located at 6325 Bardstown Road, was the first location hit in the string of robberies.

On June 17 another Circle K, located at 9110 Blue Lick Road, was robbed. The manager at that location said the robber did not show a gun, but raised his fists. He ran away from the store without taking anything, staff said.

Then the next night, June 18, three stores were robbed; the Mapco Mart at 5301 Bardstown Road, the Circle K at 7201 Fegenbush Lane and the Speedway at 8325 Preston Highway.

Three days later the Speedway at 4239 Poplar Level Road was also robbed.

Police said all of the robberies have taken place between 2:30 and 5:30 a.m.

The suspect is described as being in his late teens or early 20s, between 5'6'' to 5'9'' tall and weighing 150 to 160 pounds.

Anyone with information is asked to call the anonymous tip line at (502) 574-LMPD.
