Woman arrested for stabbing at Louisville hotel

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A woman was arrested after she allegedly stabbed a man with a steak knife at a Louisville hotel, according to an arrest report.

Louisville Metro police responded to a call of a stabbing at Value Place, an extended stay hotel, in the 10000 block of Brookridge Village in the Fern Creek area. Officers found a person with multiple stab wounds in the hallway of a room.

The victim was transported to UofL hospital with serious injuries.

Alethea Moore, 28, was found in a nearby neighborhood and taken into custody. After she was taken to LMPD 7th Division headquarters, police said Moore admitted to the stabbing.

Moore has been charged with assault. She was previously arrested for indecent exposure at the Louisville Greyhound bus station in front of children.
