LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A member of a Louisville motorcycle club was arrested Thursday for attacking a member of the same club on July 4, according to an arrest warrant.

John Burriell, 54, and three others approached their victim at gunpoint outside a club at West Jefferson Street and Louis Coleman Jr. Drive, police said. The group had been involved in an earlier dispute and had been asked to leave the club.

Burriell demanded the victim's vest and when he refused, Burriell began beating the man in the face and head with his fists. The victim suffered a swollen eye, swelling to the face, and knots to the head.

Burriell and the others fled the scene, but the victim knew Burriell and was able to identify him to police.
