Last man missing in Johnson County flood found dead

JOHNSON COUNTY, KY (WAVE) - The body of a missing man that had been swept away by flash flooding in Johnson County was found by a rescue crew on Saturday.

Scott Johnson, 34, had been missing since Monday. He had been trying to save his grandmother as a flash flood tore through their mobile home community.

Searchers found his body in a pile of debris under a mobile home that had been knocked off of its foundation. His grandmother, Willa Mae Pennington, was found dead on Tuesday.

Kentucky State Police confirms that four victims have drowned, including Richard Blair, 22, and Herman Eddie May Sr., 56. Johnson was the last person considered missing due to the floods.
