Man charged in connection to threatening note found inside JCC

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A man has been taken into custody in connection to a threatening note left on a desk inside the Jewish Community Center.
Paul Apple, 68, was booked into Louisville Metro Department of Corrections at 5:19 p.m. Wednesday.

About 200 people, mostly day-campers and senior citizens, were at the campus on Dutchman's Lane when an employee of the JCC discovered the note on a desk.
Emergency crews were called and performed a security sweep. No threats were found as a result, according to Louisville Metro Police.
Apple is charged with terroristic threatening.
