Man charged with murder, robbery in St. Matthews shooting

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A man is facing charges of murder and robbery in connection to the shooting death of a man in a St. Matthews apartment.
Andrew "Zane" McAllister, 20, was booked into Louisville Department of Corrections Wednesday, six days after Miguel Macias, 24, died after being shot multiple times inside of a unit in the Mallgate of St. Matthews apartments, located at 514 Brightwood Place.

McAllister is being held on a $500,000 full cash bond.
According to his arrest slip, McAllister and two others were involved in a theft at an apartment in the 600 block of Quails Run Road during the early morning hours of July 16. The men with McAllister were armed and a shot was fired killing Macias.
St. Matthews police said the investigation is ongoing and more arrests are expected in the case.
