LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A woman was arrested during a domestic violence incident Wednesday in a home off Cane Run Road where she pointed a loaded gun at a group of people.
According to a Louisville Metro Police Department arrest report, police responded to a call of domestic violence on Elane Drive around 2 a.m. When they arrived, they found Sandra Anderson Bouggess, 65, screaming at the victims in her bedroom.
Bougess had called the victims to her home to assist getting her husband, a double amputee, back upstairs from the basement, the arrest slip said. Victims told police that she began pushing and cussing at them before going into her bedroom and retrieving a loaded .38 special revolver that she waved and pointed at the victims.
One of the victims was able to take the gun away from Bouggess while others called police.
She was arrested and charged with wanton endangerment.
