LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Thirty-five people are homeless Tuesday after a fire ripped through a building in downtown Hazard, Kentucky.
According to WLEX-TV, the NBC affiliate in Lexington, fire officials said the building was fully involved when firefighters arrived on scene just after 6 Tuesday morning. The building houses a Chinese restaurant on the first floor and apartments upstairs.
Six people were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
A temporary shelter has been set up for those families who have been displaced.
