Woman found dead in west Louisville identified

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – Louisville Metro police are investigating after a woman was found dead in west Louisville Friday.
The Jefferson County Deputy Coroner has identified the body as 50-year-old Monica White. White was found in the 800 block of South 40th Street around 3 p.m. Friday, just a block away from where she lived on South 41st Street.
Police have not said if they suspect foul play.
Autopsy and toxicology results are pending.
