LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Have an old tablet, cell phone or electronic device you're not using anymore? If so, HopeLine from Verizon is hoping you will donate them.

The 2015 Kentucky HopeLine Drive will collect devices and accessories in any condition, from any carrier and turn them into cash grants for three domestic violence prevention and response agencies in the Commonwealth.

The grants will benefit Kentucky Coalition Against Domestic Violence, Legal Aid Society and UK Office for Policy Studies on Violence Against Women.

Sherry Currens, with the Kentucky Coalition Against Domestic Violence, said, "The HopeLine Drive provides an opportunity to increase an awareness of domestic violence in Kentucky's communities. Contributing cell phones to the drive allows each of us to play a part."

Collection boxes have been set up in approximately 350 location across the state.

The Kentucky HopeLine Drive runs Sept. 9 to Oct. 16. For more information on the HopeLine, click here.
