LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A Louisville man was arrested at a church on Friday after others reported him pulling a gun on them.

Witnesses at the Temple of Faith Baptist Church told police that Abdallatif Jaber, 76, was in line for free food when he became angry with others in the line.

They said Jaber pulled a silver handgun from his hip and started pointing it at everyone in line. They also said he had done the same thing at least two times in the past.

When officers arrived at the church, Jaber was gone. Police were able to make contact with his son, who took them to his home.

Jaber admitted to having the gun at the church, but said he was just playing around with one of his friends.

He was charged with Wanton Endangerment and released on bond.
