Sheriff Noel's allegations included insubordination, conduct unbecoming of an officer and that she mishandled evidence. As part of the agreement Lee admitted to some of the claims, according to the merit board.
The proceedings lasted less than 10 minutes.
Lee was reduced in rank to lieutenant and her salary was reduced by about $200 a month, the Sheriff's attorney explained.
She was never accused of committing any criminal acts.
