LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - The man charged in a shooting at a Louisville night club has been arraigned in Jefferson Circuit Court.

Kevon Taylor, 26, is charged with eight counts of assault after police say he opened fire inside Cole's Place in the 2800 block of W. Kentucky on July 19.

Eight people, including a pregnant woman, were shot. The baby was delivered after the shooting. All of the injuries were non-life threatening.

Taylor was one of five people arrested in late July on 112 charges of criminal possession of a forged instrument and one count of engaging in organized crime for passing counterfeit bills. Taylor and his companions passed at least $2,000 in counterfeit bills. Federal agents found another $7,600 in phony money in their car.

Bond for Taylor on the assault charges was set at $25,000 cash.
