According to Louisville Metro police, the suspect, Kenneth Michael Graves, 43, came into the store with a handgun and demanded the cash. Graves fled without the money when the store clerk pulled a gun on him.
Graves was arrested the next day wearing the same clothing he had on during the robbery. Detectives said Graves gave a recorded statement in which he admitted to the robbery.
Graves is being held on a $10,000 cash bond.
