Kentucky contestant shines 'Bright' on 'The Voice'

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A star is born! Another contestant with Kentucky ties has auditioned for "The Voice." Meet Alex Kandel!
Kandel turned two chairs with her rendition of "Bright." In the end she joined #TeamGwen for season nine of "The Voice." Harlan, Kentucky native Jordan Smith joined #TeamAdam.

Kandel went to college in Bowling Green, Kentucky. You may know her from her work as frontwoman for Sleeper Agent. She has also performed numerous times on TV including Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.
