UofL is probably looking forward to playing games more than any team in the country. The program spent the month of October in damage-control mode after the release of a book that claims a former UofL player paid a madam to provide escorts to have sex with players and recruits.
The Cards finished last season 27-9 and 12-6 in the ACC. Louisville lost to Michigan State in overtime in the Elite Eight.
UofL will have to replace Montrezl Harrell and Terry Rozier, the top two players from last year's team who are now in the NBA.
Coach Rick Pitino has brought in a pair of graduate transfers in Damion Lee (Drexel) and Trey Lewis (Cleveland State) who should help offset key losses from last year's lineup. The fifth-year players likely will be the starting guards this season.
