Pedestrian hit and killed by SUV ID'd

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A pedestrian who was hit and killed by a vehicle in Pleasure Ridge Park Thursday night has been identified by the Jefferson County Coroner's Office.

James H. Dennison Jr., 59, of Fenway Road died of multiple blunt force injuries. The accident happened about 7:35 p.m. Thursday in the 8200 block of Terry Road.

Police said a silver Toyota SUV was traveling south on Terry Road when the driver hit Dennison. He died at the scene.

No charges are expected to be filed.

Heady-Hardy Funeral Home on Dixie Highway is handling funeral arrangements.
