LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - The identity of a man killed as the result of a shooting in the Portland neighborhood on Friday afternoon has been released.

A deputy coroner said K.C. Young, 27, died from multiple gunshot wounds. Young was found lying in the road on N. 26th Street by police on Friday afternoon and was transported to University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Funeral arrangements are pending at this time.

The Louisville Metro Police Department is currently investigating the homicide. Anyone with information is asked to call LMPD's anonymous tip line at 574-LMPD.
