Police said Harper went into Sally's Beauty Supply in the Southland Terrace Shopping Center at about 4:25 p.m. Wednesday, armed with a handgun and demanded cash. After getting the money, Harper fled on foot.

Officers found her behind St. Helen's Church, located on Crums Lane across from the shopping center. She was arrested at 4:55 p.m. Police said Harper had gotten rid of the clothing and the gun she used during the holdup, but the money taken in the robbery was found on her.

Harper is charged with one count each of robbery and tampering with evidence. She was also wanted on an outstanding warrant. Bond has been set at $15,000 cash.
