When officers arrived at the scene they saw the car fleeing from the rear of the location. The victim told police that at least one shot was fired by the armed suspects.

As police tried to stop the vehicle officers said it hit two pedestrians causing serious injuries.

When Maye was finally arrested police said she initially gave them a false name. A records check revealed Maye had an outstanding warrant and was driving on a suspended license.

In addition to the outstanding warrant, Maye is charged with two counts of assault, one count each of robbery, fleeing and evading police and giving police a false name.
