SHEPHERDSVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A detective who was fired from her job in July is now facing a criminal charge.
Lynn Hunt, formerly of the Bullitt County Sheriff's Office, is accused of unlawfully accessing department files from her home computer without permission.
Hunt worked on high-profile cases, including the manslaughter conviction of Stanley Dishon in the death of his niece, Jessica, and the prostitution solicitation case against Shepherdsville Mayor Scott Ellis. The charges against Ellis were dropped last week.
Hunt filed a lawsuit against the department shortly after her dismissal.
She was not arrested on the misdemeanor charge and has pleaded not guilty.
