Woman killed after crashing into Postal Service truck in E'town

ELIZABETHTOWN, KY (WAVE) - A woman was killed on Wednesday when the car she was driving slammed into a U.S. Postal Service truck delivering mail in Elizabethtown.
According to a news release from the Elizabethtown Police Department, the woman was traveling west on Nicholas Street in her 1995 Buick 4D when the accident happened around 2 p.m. near the crossover for U.S. 62. She was taken to Hardin Memorial Hospital where she later was pronounced dead. Her name has not been released.

Police are continuing to investigate the crash.
