LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A Louisville man has been ordered to appear before a judge on charges that he abused a dog.
According to criminal summons, Joshua Ogle, 24, was witnessed hitting a pit bull mix multiple times with a shoe on the afternoon of October 10.
A person who witnessed the incident contacted Louisville Metro Animal Services and played an audio recording for the officer they made while taking with Ogle.
After speaking with Ogle, LMAS took possession of the dog. Ogle told the LMAS officer he struck the dog once with his hand.
Ogle will appear in court December 3.
