LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - As a family gathered to remember a 17-year-old homicide victim who died in Louisville Wednesday, a man was found dead across the city Saturday night.

Just after 6:30 p.m., a caller alerted MetroSafe to a disturbance in the 3200 block of Golden Turtle Circle off Goldsmith Lane in the Bashford Manor neighborhood.

As police were on their way to the scene, someone flagged them down and told them about a man who was injured in a car, according to Phil Russell, a spokesman for the Louisville Metro Police Department.

Police found the victim, who is believed to be a man in his 20s, with some type of fatal injuries.

Foul play is suspected, though officials are not yet releasing his cause of death.

Officers are working to determine if the original call to 911 and the man's death are related.

This is the fifth homicide this week and 76th homicide of 2015.

Police do not have any suspects at this time. If you have any information on this crime, please call (502) 574-LMPD (5673).
